I know this is very random but the reason I've not been on in a rather long while is because My school started 2 weeks ago and I havent any time to get on much any more.........until summer break then I'll be on here every day....like "old times".....

PS: Oh yea and ever since you upgraded the site my siggy is bigger and I can't make it smaller...any idea what's wrong Steve?

My school starts at 1st September (don`t know if it`s grammatically correct). It sucks yes, but it`s good because I can see some of my friends and theres always something interesting at school.
I don`t care about homework as I don`t study at home much.

The only good thing about school is all the holiday time you get - there are very few jobs on this planet that will let you take off huge chunks of time for the summer....and when I get a job, I reckon I'll go for one working at a school so I can still take all that time off

True, but I'd rather work and get paid than go to school, but my parents insist that getting a good education should come before everything else. (Except Fable)

Well so far the only slightly interesting thing that's happend so far is thet a horizontally huge kid was very ****ed off at another vertically huge kid.....lots of yelling, cussing,and my laughing...

And in my English class we read the Bros. Grim stories...

Jobs suck indeed, you are bossed around like you are still in school in some jobs!

True, but I'd rather work and get paid than go to school, but my parents insist that getting a good education should come before everything else. (Except Fable)

Getting a good education means you can start at a better job and not have to slave for years before you can get a good job because of experience.

Stop complaining about school! Finally I'm finished with it but school was amazing! You could get away with practically anything and as long as it wasn't something outrageously bad that you did the teachers or school couldn't really do anything about it.

Although I am glad I'm finished with it... but I'm starting A levels on Monday which is practically the same as school. Even in the same buiding for me.
(Which means that, Yes... I did scrape passes in my exams. 6 GCSE's wooo!)

I can't stop complaining about school until I graduate. The only thing I can do and get away with it and not get caught is skip class.

I'm glad you passed your GCSEs.

Getting a good education means you can start at a better job and not have to slave for years before you can get a good job because of experience.

Yes, there are three good reasons for becoming a teacher: Christmas, Easter and summer. Although in saying that I'd imagine if you had to work in some inner city school you might really need this time off.

I`d rather go to school than get a job.

The only problem with this is school doesn't pay, unless your a teacher then see above. (and being a teacher can pay quite well.)

The main thing I miss about school is not having to take too much responsibility....if I could just avoid paying the bills for a few years like the good old days....*sigh*

Tried it once - didn't much like getting cut off though.

And although being a teacher means you get all the time off, you actually spend most of it writing up new lesson plans for the next term, going on training days and marking the illegible scrawlings of 30 semi-literate chavs. And I'm being a little too kind with "semi-literate", there.

I cant wait to get back to school, I dont start back until the 11th and I have been solid bored for the past three weeks. Needless to say, I actually enjoy the course I am studying at the moment but I guess studying a course of your choice in college is different than studying for GCSEs or just going through the obligitory school system... I used to hate school, those were the days when things were as they should be!
