If you read the quest note at the end it says that you have freed the ghosts that were trapped. I assume they moved on or crossed over or what not.

if you didnt notice, snowglobe is oakvale. the people were trapped there by the shadow court when Reaver made that deal with them. breaking the curse set them free so they could finaly rest in peace.
