Ive just killed the necromancer and figured Id post a quick walk through to help out anyone who cant find him.
1st make sure you have the daichi and perferator equipped ( these worked for me )
2nd make sure you have either fireball or electricity in the first spell slot
time delay in the second slot and energy blast in the 5th slot. ( doesnt matter about 3rd or 4th for these fights ) .
The idea is to eliminate every enemy in the Colosseum from beatles to spire guards. when this is done, the necromancer will appear, depending how quickly you've killed everything else determines how long you have to kill him.
The golden rule ( i found ) for this achievement is always use time delay ( by putting it in the second slot you free up 1st slot for rapid range spells. Dont over charge your magic meter for heavy spells because it will take too long in the end, trust me. Instead use your sword as much as possible, when an enemy is blocking, either shoot or find another target, dont forget to keep using time delay and slashing like crazy! when the hollow men start spawning use time delay and then charge up your level 5 force blast. This is extremely effective at decimating hollow men ( and, if your lucky, afew spire guards aswell! ) Also ignore flit switches unless they are in the immediate combat area. During the combat there will be afew occasions where its all quiet, use this time to scan the walls of the colloseum, hollowmen, bandits and spire guards have a habit of wandering off during combat. DONT chase after them just get them in range of your rifle. The perferator is rapid and a heavy hitter. If done well enough you should have atleast 1min 20/30 seconds ish to fight the Necromancer. Ignore the hollowmen he summons, instead use the perferator. You'll only be able to hit him afew times before he teleports...keep an eye on the direction the streams go, this will let you know which direction he has gone. He ususally stays against the wall so dont concentrate on the centre too much. With all this done you should have a nice new achievement for yourself. Congrats in advance.... Bumblsquat!
