Should I bother with Oblivion?

Mum you'v got to admit you get very frustrated with it,I mean you said that it was bullcrap or somthing like that!:/

Never go near your mother when she is playing Dragon age. 'Frustrated' is not the word to describe that situation.

As many people have touched upon Skyrim is a lot better in the visual category but i find that it does have the better gameplay, mainly because the Guilds and Questlines are more expansive. Without going into to much detail, the Guilds in Skyrim were terrible (In my opinion) compare to Oblivion, they lacked.. .substance? I would seriously pick up Oblivion if you love rpgs, yes it has worse graphics, but the gameplay is definitely there. As i do to most people, i would recomend Oblivion on pc down to the fact there are multiple mods that can make the visuals a lot better.

All hail my complete inability to format my posts correctly! I meant Oblivion is buggy. By comparison, Skyrim is a dream

I only had a handful of bugs in Oblivion too, though admittedly two were game breaking with one which deleted my saves and the other turned the grass into rainbow coloured compasses. Ironically both were caused by a patch that was released to fix the issues I never had.

Yh the glitches in Oblivion are really annoying and the graphics are really pore , but I still think it is better than Skyrim I dunno why!?:/

Because you can cheat in Oblivion :)

And yeah, I do get annoyed with parts of Skyrim (Hag's End yesterday made me get very very very very ragey) but that's mostly because I set myself stupid challenges like complete as much of the game as I can at level one which, when faced with three hagravens, two witches, a dragon priest and an elder dragon is a bit....tricky.
