Should I, or Shan't I Not?

I'm thinking about buying an Xbox 360 to play Fable 2, but I'm not sure. Is it really worth it? Or should I just go with a PS3 and longingly look at Fable 2 everytime I pass through electronics stores...I need help convincing myself.

Although the Xbox has more games I want to play, It's the RROD and the replacement issues that's making it hard for me to decide.

It's good that you saw your mistake in posting in the wrong area, but I'll reply now that it's here anyway.

Definitely go with the 360.

I would go with a PS3, because of the more games hitting it soon and more XBLA-like games are launching, with full free online play and built in wifi already, I would get it. But oh well I own a 360 already, but I'm happy with that to.

Go with X360. I've got Xbox 360 Elite, and it's practically on all day and I never got a RRoD. If I get a RROD I have that thing (what do you call it... hmmmm) you know, that thing... that you can get a new one.

Hmm, well there's a 3 year warranty that replaces it if you do get any RRoDs, but you've never had any with yours Daemon? How long have you had it?

Yea that's the word! Warranty! Nope, I never had any RRoDs, and I've got my Xbox for a very long time, my friend.

Shweet. I think I'm going to sell my Wii then cause I haven't played on it in 8 months. (*snort*) Anyways, with Xbox DLCs, do you have to pay for Live to download them plus the cost of the DLC, or can you download it just by paying it's own price?

get the xbox360 i mean not only fable 2 but also fable 3 will be coming out for it. not to mention the legions of other awesome games.
+ i havent used my wii in like a year either XD

lol Thanks. I think I'm convinced now, it's just the thing about the DLCs I'm confused about:

With Xbox DLCs, do you have to pay for Live to download them plus the cost of the DLC, or can you download it just by paying it's own price?

Take Knothole Island as an example. It costs 800 microsoft points.

You can just download it even if you don't have xbox live gold (for xbox live gold you have to pay). But, you still have to have 800 microsoft points.

Edit: Damn, ninja'd.

Okay, here's something you should know about XBox 360:

I got an Xbox 360 some time this year, around July. In August 2008, the latest manufactured consoles have the new Jasper chip. I'm telling you, unless you wrap your Xbox 360 with a blanket, blocking off all the ventilation (see fail towel RRoD fix), it will not get RRoD, even if you wanted to. The power usage is literally the same as my lamp: 12V, A1. The motherboard will not fry. Ever.

you definitely should get a 360, for Fable 2, and for the coming of Fable 3.
