Should I Play Fable 1?

I didn't like it the first time around, but didn't give it much of a chance either. I love Fable 2 and can't stop playing it but feel that I'm missing out on a lot of the back-story. I don't care about graphics, but am really big on controls and interface and, frankly, even Fable 2 is lacking in those departments. If Fable 1 is much worse I really don't want to play it.

Fable 1 is good but the fighting system sucks.

I didn't like the look of Fable the first time I clapped eyes on it. Second time, well, I liked it so much me and DD started a website dedicated to it. =]

Yes, you definately should play Fable TLC, especially if you're a hardcore-mainplot-roleplayer. I would, definately recommend it to you. That is, if you're a Fable 2 fan. ^_^

It is eternally better than fable 2, honestly its the best game I,ve personally ever played and YOU MUST play it or miss out on one of the finest games in history

lmao if i were you id play it. but keep this in mind: DONT QUIT IN THE BEGGINING!!!!!
all of my friends who played fable tlc before quit after about half an hour (whe nthey reached the picnic with the bee) because it was to boring, AND IT IS BUT DONT STOP. the fun is later in the game. i tried to explain that to them but they dont wanna try again. its the reason none of em got fable 2. imo you have to play it its an awesome game

thats what makes the game interesting, if that wasnt in there, youd just run through the game really fast, but for me thats the part of the game which makes me stop before the quest and procrastinate about doing the quest. ill buy loads of **** at stores and i find it stretches the game alot. besides, the game after and before that is just...awesome

Definately play it, i wouldn't like Fable 2 as much as i do if i didn't play Fable 1 first. It's mainly the storyline that always addicted me to Fable 1 (Storyline is much better in Fable 1) and really the only downside is the fighting system.

Go for it, if you like Fable 2, you will like Fable 1 (After you give it a half hour or so)

i found that fable 1's fighting system was more fast pace and the game had a better atmosphere... better music and more memorable characters and ALL the legendary weps kick ass (cutless blutane was my fav)

oh and if you play TLC there is a pimp hat to find LOL

PLAY IT! the storyline ad magic system are so much btter, there are better weapons and clothes, your guy doesnt lewk like a gwfy ass and the environments are much kewler. The only bad things are ppl dont like the fighting system but i like it much more then fable 2

The Bargate Prison part is one of the very few awesome events in Fable TLC, IMO. I think the beginning is worse.

I agree with you here. In somehow gives a different view of the fighting and skills avaliable, while changing the same thing to something that really wasn't anticipated (or at least not by me!).
