rather than set it to have colors that match the background color of the forum, you could actually delete the background of the image. then it's transparent regardless of what color the page you display it on.Let's see if my attempt to transparency worked... Oh wait, the new background is white, I won't know. >_<
Oh well, uploading anyway.
EDIT: OH wait, I have to edit the height, which is now 270.
EDIT2: there we go...
Didn't work, Demi.
I'll have to withdraw my entry until later, when is the deadline?
That's the point: I saved it with an erased background. =|
AGH, it doesn't work... ='|
As Sephi said save it as PNG file. I save all my sigs as PNG even if they don't have transparent BG. BTW I start to like your sigs they improve a lot. Keep it upAGH, it doesn't work... ='|
are you using photoshop? cause if you're not i don't know what advice to give, but if you are...AGH, it doesn't work... ='|

I'm using Paint.net, and not planning on using Photoshop, because apparently it costs MONEH, and I don't want to spend any more MONEH, just for awesome sigs.are you using photoshop? cause if you're not i don't know what advice to give, but if you are...
you can use the "background eraser" tool to remove the background completely. the layer will still be there, but it won't have anything on it. you can then save it as a .PSD if you want to keep a copy with all your layers, or a .PNG if you want it to be a regular image.
most of the other image types will fill in the negative space with a white background - which you surely don't want.
EDIT: ninja'd
