I can see how the no name rule works, but at the same time... Who would steal someones signature? If I stole one of RR's signatures it would be obvious because he made it. He would notice instantly and then everyone would know.

But what if you used that signature on a different forum?

I have no problem with people using my signatures but if they say they made it then they're muchos stupido.

I can see how the no name rule works, but at the same time... Who would steal someones signature? If I stole one of RR's signatures it would be obvious because he made it. He would notice instantly and then everyone would know.

They'd steal the signature from a different community, not this one, and claim it as their own. They would do it because they have no talent/skill, and to fit in with the crowd without having to do any of the work and be payed attention to. It would be a bit funny when we caught someone at other forums, but awfully sad, they'd have no excuse and would either never return on their own with nothing to say, or call everyone a "douchebag", say they don't care, and then run away to steal again at another forum.

Well sure, someone could do that, but if they're stealing sigs, they're probably not good enough at editing or photoshop to know how to edit over text. Even if they could, it would take some amount work, which would be what they're trying to get away from by stealing.

Probably, or if they're the clever type.. they'd do the common thing and steal from Planet-Renders' PSD Tutorial section. Remove the layer with someone's name and viola.

HI everyone,I am back,I was away for a few days,I was in Rijeka,playing handball(I know most of you never heard about it,but it is the most american sport americans dont know about,anyway,I was playing for my school in the national championship,we won the championship ,no surprise,we are by far the best school team in Croatia,we played in The World School handball championship in Portugal 2 months ago,we won the 4th place in the world...anyway,I am also using this post to promote handball,so I am just putting up a link,you guys might want to check it out,see what I am talking about,Handball is number 2 sport in Europe,it is the most dynamic team sport,so here is a link to a hanball movie:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPgnRff5EVg&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26IwEY56ork

Anyway,I wanted to enter the competition,but I did not know the rule about the name,and once I did found out I did not have the time to edit the sig,I will be posting it now just to see if it will be ok for the future competitions:

Oh,I also have an idea:

It is called SOTW-Sig of the week

Instead of having this sig battle,chose the best sig for each week,nothing really changes,and the winner chooses the theme for the next week,and you could also have a Sig hall of fame,post up all the winning signatures.

I was wondering where I saw that signature for like 5 minutes, then scrolled up the page and realised and had one of those,
"why didn't I think of that" moment.
Felt rather silly afterwards.

Their tutorial section can't have that many sigs, can it? Odds are they wouldn't find sigs that fit into most of the themes.

Uh, that doesn't exactly belong in this thread. I understand that you were saying that this is the reason you didn't have time to put your name on your sig, but it'd be better to talk about this stuff in depth in the tavern section rather than here.

Well yes, but you'll have to enter it into a future battle again that has another theme that it fits into.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about. Who would choose the best sig? Your idea doesn't really sound any different from what we're doing now.

Hundreds of them, I haven't been there in a good while but I'd imagine there's over a thousand PSD signatures by now. Some people are just too lazy to write out a Step-by-Step process of the tag, thus it is a thieves paradise.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about. Who would choose the best sig? Your idea doesn't really sound any different from what we're doing now.

SOTW is exactly the same thing, just a different name. It's the common name used at most graphics designing communities.
