I've played so much Dragon Age: Origins that whenever I play Fable III, I keep getting Logan's name mixed up with Loghain's!

When you think about it, the two characters share even more in common. In their respective games, both serve as the most active (yet secondary) antagonist. Both justify their antagonism in their belief that the end justifies the means. Lastly, both their fates (pardon or execute) are decided by the player.

God I totally fell in love with Dragon Age Orgin and completed it with every Orgin story. It’s a shame that the others afterwards were not as strong. There are massive similarities between the two franchises. Both had an extensive development time and contained ton of stuff that never made the final cut. I never saw the conection between the two before but when you point it out I can definitely see the similarities between the two guys. Good spot Scarlett Rose.

My sentiments exactly. Both worlds are extremely dynamic and captivating, and there are indeed many similarities. There are almost too many similarities to mention in regard to the two franchises!

Some time ago, I made a similar thread comparing Fable III to Dishonored. Perhaps I'll make a "similarities between..." series for Fable :P

And for the record, I totally agree with you regarding the Dragon Age sequels... As far as I'm concerned, Dragon Age II onward is non-canon.

I think that a Similarity’s Thread sounds like an excellent idea. You clearly have a good eye for it.

It’s a shame that Dragon Age Orgin never had a remaster, similar to Fable Anniversary because I would be the first one in the cue to that.

I love massive games worlds like Fables and Dragon Age with there amazing lore and great character design. It’s a shame that only Skyrim has kept me moderately interesting in role playing games since.

The Witcher looks to be an admittedly great franchise and I have heard such fantastic things about it. I just unfortunately had never got around to playing it. I don’t doubt that it could be a future game I could look to be buying soon.

Dont have to worry too much about playing whole series, I really liked The Witcher 2 (didnt play original) but Witcher 3 was stunning and prior knowledge isnt essential & works amazing as a stand alone game too.

I got a holiday coming up and not much planned so I might get it then. At least that will be something to look forward to. Thanks Dark Drakan.
