Skateboarding

recently i started skateboarding....i've just had a lot of fun seeing how much speed i can get before i lose control
not too much progress to speak of on my ollie though lol.

does anyone here skate?
how good/how long have you been skating?
do you prefer to skate on ramps or on the street?

i skate, but im not really that good. right now all i can do is ollie. the street is better. ill be on ramps more as soon as i learn more tricks

I dont skate, I hate skaters (no offence) they think they are so cool... Theyll see, oh theyll se alright! One day the joggers and bikers will make an alliance with the rollerbladers, and their shall be a war!

true there are a lot of ***hole skaters. there are some pretty cool ones though
they come in at about one in ten :lol:

I skate. I once landed a Varial Kickflip. I cried, but my hands in the air then rode into a curb. I can ollie very easily, do a few manual tricks, and Hippie Jump over a rail. That's about it.

I wouldn't consider myself good and I don't skate often since I live in an area full of chavs.

Street. Ramps are fun but to repetitive.

I hate skaters.... around where I live. The sub-culture associated with those skaters is totally retarded. Oh I loathe them soooo much. I'm sure it isn't universal.

I skate in placed that don't **** everyone off. Quiet places. There aren't many skaters here, I think like 4 altogether. So we don't get in peoples ways.

I hate most sub-cultures.. Well.. all of them.

There are some "Cool" Skaters but then there is alot Of "***" Skaters, or "Posers" And they **** me off, Even though im not that good at skating I do it cause I enjoy it not to be labelled as a "Skater".

I can Ollie, Pop Shuvit, Manual, Hippie Jump, Nearly Varial, 180, And some other ****ty tricks.

Hippie Jumps are a lot harder than people make it out to be. You're scared to jump :lol:

My board got all smashed up and everything so I might buy a new one. I've liked skating more since I bought Skate 2 ^_^

Hippie Jumps are a lot harder than people make it out to be. You're scared to jump :lol:

My board got all smashed up and everything so I might buy a new one. I've liked skating more since I bought Skate 2 ^_^

I dont skate, but I wouldnt mind learning. Iv skated a few times befor and its fun. I really dont care about the skating sub culture, Id skate simply because its a fun activity.

^ Yeah Skating is fun, When you land a Move even if it is the simplest thing in the world you still get excitement from it, Its awesome! And especially when you do something you have no idea what im doing.

And its cool cause I get to skate with people who're incredible good so I get to watch them do all these insane things.

my sis decided to play idiot and rode MY board(not HERS) in the rain the other day. she completely ruined perfectly good bearings. poor thing doesnt even roll anymore

1. Me
2. Well, I was kind of good. Could pull off tricks, not in to the vert yet. I had been skating for... 2-3 months. I could do all sorts of stuff like kickflips, varials, tre flips, etc.
3. Street. All the way. I skated when I was back in Cali. Yeah... that was a haven.

I used to skate.
I stopped though. My mom and dad made me...
You see, there was this accident. Where I tried to grind a rail...
And the board broke.
And something else did too.
It was sore for like, a freakin' month!
