Just released to the web and likely thanks to the now leaked Xbox 360 copy of Skyrim, are 131 new screenshots taken directly from the Xbox 360 version of the game. The vast majority of the shots are that of locales and landscapes, others include the menus, combat, and some NPCs with dialogue subtitles beneath. I don't have to tell you that these screens do contain minor spoilers, in the sense that.. if you don't want a large chunk of environments spoiled for you.. then I suggest to make a pass on this one.

However, for those of you that don't mind the revealed locations.. then feel free to enjoy the new fapping material.

The detail is quite stunning and the lighting and water effects for a game of this scope running on a console is quite remarkable.

I like the weapons that are effected by the time of day too such as the Lunar Axe (While the moons are out, burns the target for 12 points), nice little idea.

The frost trolls look rather intimidating too I must add. Even the Sabre Cat looks like it could be a problem if caught by surprise by them.

Love some of the screenshots man, cant wait for skyrim. Even thought its DX9 it looks ruddy amazing. Rivals some DX11 games ive seen. Ide love to see what bethesda could do with a pure pc game.

Great pics, the third one of the fort is amazing, the ground is craggly and uneven, it looks old and sets a feeling of reality. Another one inside a cave where a tree is rooting through it's just beautiful. I can't believe the pirates got their hands on the entire finished product for the leading console, that's gotta hurt. There's a certain victory in being piradical to outsmarting and being crafty and sneaky, getting through the cracks. But outright stealing all that hardwork and uploading it on some filthy torrent there's just no justice in that.

The 360 is old enough now everyone knows the backdoors.

Yeah, it's a shame, but it happens to every game these days.. and folks wonder why their favorite companies are struggling to survive to make the games they love to steal.

The developers of Dark Souls had the right idea. Folks who got the game Dark Souls early ended up with a code in the game that makes enemies wipe them out in one blow, making the game impossible to play. :P

Haha that's funny, ruins it for them too. It's often an all to reoccurring note in the Entertainment industry. The internet leveled the playing field and there was a small window to embrace it but no one did so now they are stuck with dwindling profit. It's a new paradigm shift in how users consume their product.
