Going back all the way to the older interviews Bethesda did for those "meaty" DLCs they talked about for Skyrim. Todd Howard joins a new interview with Kotaku, unfortunately he basically repeats the same thing, but what is worth noting for this news is that Bethesda is planning to release free content in between these (what they like to refer to now as) expansion packs (to make the huge gaps less painful). Similar to how they released the free Hi-res texture pack & Portal 2 content for PC players, whether this free content ends up being pieces from the painfully teased Game Jam they showed off, or just simple weapon/armor packs, is still up for speculation.
Some of the content that was produced however from the Game Jam (among other things) is possibly being considered, but none of it has been bug-tested, polished, nor balanced for the game at all.
