Mexi- I mean South Texas
I was checking out the interactive Alduins's Wall over on Gameinformer. When I came to the final little info box, it said towards the end "As Skyrim begins, a lone prisoner begins to learn that he may hold a similar power (to the Dragonborn)...

So, I was wondering "Prisoner opening, again?" I dont know how the devs are going to go about doing this if it is true. Thoughts? Concerns? Soup?

morrowind was...similar.you were a no-name immigrant who may as well have just been released from prison.

i wouldn't be so quick to criticize unless they had a racist dark elf across the hall again. or the emperor needs to use a secret passage in your cell.
that'd bother me a bit.

You were just released from prison.

All the player characters in the each Elder Scroll's game (except Daggerfall) escape or get released from prison at the start. I kinda like that theme, and I hope they stick with it.

It makes it easy on the developers, like living in a vault in Fallout - you start with a clean map and a clean character.
