So I tried GIMP...

...And I ****in' LOVE IT! It is so freakin' easy to use, it runs smoother, and I like the layout a LOT more that Photoshop. I have no idea about advanced capabilities of Photoshop or GIMP, but for simple things I love GIMP.

Now, with that, what do you guys use? What do you prefer?

Did you know that even in an asteroid field, you're still incredibly unlikely to even see an asteroid, and is only dense compared to the rest of space?

Sorry, I'm a pedant. But I agree with the rest of what you said. Sometimes I even use PowerPoint, because they have preset shapes with can be a pain to draw on Paint.

I like GIMP. I used Photoshop before and it seemed too....ugly.

never gone outside of photoshop, i've used 7, CS, and now CS3.

can't be bothered to "borrow" the new version whenever it gets released.
