So the new Dresden Files book comes out tomorrow (Ghost Story)

Look, man, you know what I'm going to say, don't you? It's really simple:
GO TO THE LIBRARY.
Of course, currently every library in the country is going to have a wait list AT LEAST forty people long, but still. My system currently has them in "In Processing" status, but they're generally pretty good about getting them out in delivery. So at 12:30-1:00 when that big blue truck arrives at my branch, I'm immediately coming down violently ill and going home to read.
Because, being the smart nerd that I am, I'm #5 on that 41-person list and the system has ten copies. AND I work there, so I have dibs anyway.

They have eleven (not ten), but nine out of the eleven are, for some reason, entered in the system with the call number 813.6 (American Fiction since 2000) instead of SFF BUT, and they've only sent out the two that are entered right.
I don't know what the hell they're doing. But the first two lucky bastards got their copies (or will get them) while I'm waiting for them to get off their asses.

Finally. Was sitting there checking in holds from delivery when I glanced over at my coworker and went-- HEY! Who's that on hold for? And then freaked out. She started laughing at me.
I started to read it on my break, and ended up being ten minutes late getting back.
I only got as far as Mort the ectomancer revealing his unexpected levels of badassery. I think I'll skip sleep tonight.
