Re: So, what's the best?

You can max it if you swing the other way fully, then switch back to evil.

Re: So, what's the best?

Yeah but the chances of becoming super duper good at this stage in the game are pretty damn slim. Unless I give all my money to the temple of Avo? Even thought it violates everything I stand for as an evil entity...

It actually looks quite neat.

Re: So, what's the best?

Well, if that's what I gotta do to get all my will maxed out then I guess I have to do it. I suppose it's more reason to blast villagers and guards...

Re: So, what's the best?

I say a spell warrior, but to have an all round character is pretty good too

Re: So, what's the best?

Hmm, I'm going to just learn him EVERYTHHING.. But if you master toughnes and guile or speed or something. How does it looks? Cause 1 makes you big and the other tall..? Well, i just try. I'm fully good btw

Re: So, what's the best?

Well, your character gets tall with big highly defined muscles, particularly in the arms - my character is slim, but when he had too much apple pie he looked like a tank even though he was classed as obese.

Re: So, what's the best?

Yeah basically what angel said, you get big, beefy and muscley. And you don't get scars that visible.

Re: So, what's the best?

Multi strike+assasin rush+enflame when he's on the ground works pretty well to. So that's mage/melee combo

Re: So, what's the best?

I would say if it is your first time playing to probably just go with melee and maybe a few spells until you make some progress with the game and learn the spells, and skills, then you can start a new guy and use different stuff with him.

One of my favorite beginner spell that I prefer to use when I start a melee account is, melee + beserk + slow-time, for even if they are low levels you are sure a cause some serious damage on your opponents. Plus I am pretty sure they are both neutral spells so they are good if you are trying to get your align to be good or if you want to be evil.

Beserk is NOT a neutral spell.

Re: So, what's the best?

Ok, going back to my earlier post about maxing out all my will powers, I found that because I have Jack's mask on, my alignment stays fully evil no matter what but my physical form changed according to my good deeds - I donated about 3 million to the temple of Avo, took off 10 years, got named Paladin (even though I prefer Deathbringer), got blue eyes, butterflies and all that crap and maxed out everything. As a final gesture of goodwill, I went to the Snowspire Charity shop and donated some high value items (solus greatsword, bereaver complete with full augmentation, some other high priced bits and bobs etc) and at the end of it got 1 measly good point. So I drew my Sword Of Aeons and took the stupid woman's head off. 30 seconds later, my horns were back and I am now the most evil Paladin ever...

Re: So, what's the best?

I think Fables one weak point is the fact that there is no point of being only one ... emm.. thing. Only Melee, Magic or Ranged...
There should have been options that take you deeper into one side.
About the dopic... As its so easy to get exp in Fable I usually max them all, but in my first game I was a mixture of... Strength and Magic. And I always end up being a Witchhunter...

Re: So, what's the best?

I like having all of them thank you very much./

Re: So, what's the best?

Fable is easy. Too easy. Even more so if you're maxing everything. Physical Shield and anything else will make mince meat outta anything.

Soooo...while maxing everything will be totally awsome and powerful, it is the least fun.

Trying to build your characters out of concepts are alot less effective, but are bucketloads more of fun.

For example my big Barbarian type of hero: Two-Handed Axes, full Physique and nothing else...oh wait, I think I've got Battle Rush or whatever it's called. Charges them and knocks them down...and Berserk for the coolness factor. No easy-mode Physical Shield, just good ol' hardcore blocking to save you from getting your Combat Multiplier down.

This aint my first character. He was one of those "maxed out everything demi-god"-characters. The Barbarian character I am playing now is alot more fun, and not to mention, alot more challanging.

That's what I've got to say about this matter.

Re: So, what's the best?

for me, maxed out physique, health, toughness, and speed...then maxed multi strike(5 extra hits! Best spell in game in my opinion), then maxed slow time, and maxed physical shield...completely unstoppable...

Sadly not. Tried and failed so I beat the shopkeeper with it again and again and again until her head came off. Serves her right.

That is so true - I am starting to wish that once you do max out everything, instead of getting experience orbs once someone is killed, you should get items or gold instead - I've got thousands and thousands of experience points I will never be able to spend so I think it's a bit pointless having them now.
