With the new update, you can install games to your harddrive, for faster gameplay and loading I guess.

I'm going to sell fable 2 and fallout 3 soon.
And visit blockbuster.

They wont let you download **** for free, you'll probally have to buy them from Xbox Live no doubt.

Yeah id read the small print of that before to realize you still need the disc to play them and installing them only stops disc spinning so much and lessens load times. Doesnt mean you can play it without the disc i mean its not a Virtual CD Program. :lol:

As the RROD is normally down to an overheating issue and solder melting and chips peeling away from motherboard no.

I just installed it. it's a pointless exercise. no difference in the loading time or anything. the only thing it made a difference to was the amount of HD space i had left, and you still need the disc anyway. it would probably be better for a game like halo

fair enough, i thought it maybe better, prevent lag and stuff. i probably wont install any games on there anyway. if i bought a new 120G HD, then i might consider it, but i still have the original 'alleged' 20G HD that they first came out with.

Since I installed Fable 2 my game is lagging a lot.
It gets faster after a while as it takes about 20 minutes to speed up.

My 120 gig bounced to 80 gig after installing about 3 games.
