Sound issues in windows 7

Hey everyone! I've run into quite annoying problem with Windows 7 and TLC. When I start the game, I hear all sounds fine (In all the intros), however as soon I come to profile select and onwards, all sound vanish. NO sound in game no matter what.

I've checked that sound works on windows, and in other games. Using Nvidia GTX 260 card, with Asus motherboard, no sound card.

Any ideas what may solve this?

No idea, I wasn't sure Fable would run at all on Windows 7.

Well, all works just fine.. the only issue left is sound ^^

Lol, I'm trying to install Fable: the lost chapters right now, but there is one problem with the video "Video_6_arena_mothers_story_comp.wmv, it doesnt work , the installation doesn't go on
i shall check if i can watch it, it works fine, but the same problem occurs again and again-_-

ah its not the cd, its the disc drive
i couldnt take an other cd and install it then on windows7 with my disc drive?
