Re: SPELLING
Pimp? Why would that be censored?
And, honestly, spelling is important. It shows one can get their ideas across in a professional manner. It also makes one sound more intelligent. On many forums I have visited, people react more favorably to a person who spell correctly, and are able to get their ideas out in a manner everyone can understand.
All throughout school, I had teachers pound it in to me that spelling and grammar are important. That, coupled with my perfectionist personality, has made me a spelling and grammar Nazi.I try not to point it out to people ("I did good"...no, you did "well") because no one likes to be shown their faults.
It also comes with age. If you haven't had English and history teachers put a emphasis on spelling and grammar usage, it isn't your fault. A nice thing that Firefox does is when you enter in text in a reply to a forum message, it underlines in red the words spelled incorrectly. If you right click on the word, it gives you choices of what it thinks the word is supposed to be.
