spells have an X through them so that I can't access them.

spells have an X through them so that I can't access them.

I looked all over the internet for the answer to this one but couldn't find one. Forgive me if this has been addressed already, but, some of my spells have an X through them so that I can't use them. How do I change this? I have already played and beaten the game one time and this didn't happen that time and I am not playing differently enough so that there would be some alignment issue (to my knowledge anyway).

This happens to me sometimes. I save the game, quit, then start again, and they are back to normal.

hahaaha that only happens when you are in a zone that resritcs magic or you have no mana left or casting a other spell at the same time

I just started up the game today and it is the same. The x appears when I go to skills/magic. The spells don't even appear when I press the shift key. The level that I have bought them to appears in skills/magic but the x is to the left of the spell icon. One of the spells that doesn't appear with the shift key is now located on the 8 hotkey. It also isn't a location restriction as it is happening no matter where I am.

No, it is happening no matter where in Albion my character is.

The x simply means your spells aren't in the bar at the right of your screen when you hit the shift key. You can physically move them to the bar with your mouse. Go to skills/magic, find the spells you are missing in the vertical bar and physically drag them to the bar with your mouse. The x will then go away.

This has happened to me too. But I fixed it manually. I hope it works for you too.
