Yeah the older movies were the best, had more story and solid acting.

But what was great about the new movies was they really did match the Obi Wan we knew from the first movie to the Obi Wan in the three prequels. They did good with that.

I agree, they did a marvelous job of Obiwan, through all the movies he remains, the same. I cried so hard, when he died.:(
The last movie, I was very disappointed in. The actor that played, luke skywalkers father didn't fit. He seemed so full of himself. And the poor little jedi novices. OMG, I could not believe, what happened to them. I don't own it, nor do I want to.

I kept getting confused with all the various Sith lords...just seemed like they had no other bad guys so they'd better stick someone in to make it seem more Star Wars-y...just didn't work well.

Plus the newer films are meant to be prequels yet the technology, scenery, costumes etc were far more advanced because of the current film technological abilities. If you're going to make a prequel to three of the greatest films in movie history, get the continuity sorted out in every way you can.

I agree that they came a long way with the technology, etc., but I just wish they would use better actors. Of course, when Star Wars was first released, there wasn't any other movie like it, out there. So, they seemed so incredibly, special. I just wish, I could get the same feelings from the newer ones.

When you looked at when they were made and the effects and such that were used its quite stunning really.

this may be a little random. but i like Luke Skywalkers "theme". u know, the song they play when luke is on tattoine staring at the random 2 suns in the sky

I used to have the Vader theme as a message tone on my phone & sometimes an alarm to wake me up. :lol:

yeah, and the Trilogy, I bought was redone, so it was much better, than the original. They also added in, a lot of scenes, they couldn't do before. Like Jabba the hut. That was remarkable.:)

I bought the same trilogy, the digitally remastered one. ^_^

I know it is so cool. Every time I get to upset, I just plug one in and in a manner of minutes, I'm lost in my own little world. I really love all the music, in all of them. Wish there was a CD just with all their music. I'd probably listen to it once every day.^_^

I'm almost finish watching it. I thought that was a cool part too.
