Summerslam - WWE

So as many of you Wrestling fans out there know, the payperview Summerslam was yesterday on August 15th. What's your thoughts on it?

P.S. Although Wrestling is faker than Pamela Anderson's boobs. It's really entertaining to watch.

I only catch the odd show here and there when im hungover on a Sunday. Shame WWE now has very little talent left from the days of Stone Cold, The Rock, HHH, Undertaker, Mick Foley, Kane etc. The new 'Main Eventers' are mediocre at best and just havent got the talent the old guys had. The roster has gotten worse every year, they need some new 'special' talent.

I remember watching Wrestlemania with Kane, The Big Show and Raven and it was probably the best thing I had ever saw. Ever.

Now it just sucks.

Didn't see it, but I was hoping the rumours that were going around of The Rock returning in a GM role at SummerSlam would be true, would spark my interest in the show again.

The last episode I saw of the WWE was the night HBK & Bret Hart retired together, prior to that I hadn't properly watched the shows in 7 years. I just watch old episodes and PPVs from the 80s & 90s now from time to time..

I agree though, the WWE has never been as good as it was 10 years ago in the Attitude Era back when they would earn TV ratings of 6s, 7s, and 8s. Now they throw a party if they manage to score a 4.5 in the ratings from the straight 2s & 3s. The talent these days seriously lack originality and creativity, the writing is mediocre, and they have the same people main-eventing almost every night. It's nice to see Kane has gotten the title push that he hasn't received in 11 years.

Randy Orton is the only young talent that I found interesting so far.

Yeah, that Wrestlemania 17 still stands as my favorite WWE PPV, the performance lineup was just flawless.

It's fantastic. I haven't seen it for some years but I've watched it up to 20 times.
The epic HHH entrance with the special "Time to play the Game" intro was just damn awesome.

Wow, what a coincidence, my brother made me watch the Armageddon 2000 6-man Hell in a Cell match. It made me miss what wrestling was.
