What did Jack of Blades always call the Hero? Guild Puppet right?
Maybe Scythe did not choose the hero because he was so involved with the guild, he would not have defied or tried to change it no matter his alignment. The guild was his home.
For Scythe to revive the true Hero's Guild the Guild from Fable 1, which was more of a glorious mercenary training center, would have to be out of the picture.
IMO Scythe would not have been able to do that with the Hero, so the first hero was not the ultimate hero. What he did to rid Albion of jack was important but you can't do everything.
Anyone agree?

I guess The Fall of Heroes plays an important factor there, whether heroes are still hailed in Fable2...
