Temple of light and temple of shadows

since rookridge and oakield wont be in fable 3, do you think they will continue the theme of good/bad temples in aurora?

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

Ya but I think the TOL will maybe be a chapel or something

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

They never said Rookridge and Oakfield won't be in Fable 3.

But yes, if they follow the pattern (which they usually do), there will be some kind of good and evil temples.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

im sure that somewhere they confirmed there would only be 3 places from albion in fable 3, fairfax castle, bowerstone market and bower lake

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

Yea 3places are confirmed. but anyways, its not gonna be light and shadows. Its going to change to something else. There was this book in fable 2 I read about Skorm and Avo. It was like what else would the world resort to worshiping? Then it named like Light and shadows as one of them. Its probably going to be some different good and evil religion.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

I didn't know that, that sucks, they change too many region in 50 years.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

While only three places have been confirmed, more are most likely on their way to confirmation. I'm not saying that Rookridge and Oakfield will be in Fable 3 for sure, I'm just saying that you shouldn't count them out until you hear that they won't be in the game.

That might not be true. Skorm and Avo are gone in Fable 2 because there was such a dramatic jump forward in the timeline. That's not the case this time.

We should also remember that your Fable 2 save influences your game on Fable 3 (if you so choose). Perhaps that if one temple is gone and the other is thriving, only the thriving one will exist in your Fable 3 game. Or perhaps another of the other kind of temple was build. Or you could have the option of building it yourself.

very good point +rep
althought that makes sense, what about the people who don't choose to continue from their fable 2 save?

Perhaps both temples would still exist then. We can't be sure, though.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

my guess is a temple that is available a quarter way of the game, that is either good or bad depending on your morality at that point?

Nah, that wouldn't be right, there has always been two temples, there should always be, two temples.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

maybe that wouldnt be so bad aslong as it can change afterwards because we may be evil and decide to go good later on. but then again, im sure we have to be a little evil at one point taxing people to fund for army, etc. so it wouldnt be fair if the temple became evil after that; unless you receive your fable 2 characters money and theres no need for corruption

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

well, they want fable 3 to have more impact on decisions, and fable 2 decisions seem more of an impact in fable 3.

but still, if the temples are in aurora then they could be actual gods instead of the fake avo and skorm

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

I actually think as king, you should choose which religions people must worship, then anyone who worships otherwise should be punished.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

forcing people to be religious will probably always be a morally evil choice.
perhaps destroying one of the religions would be less evil of a choice

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

If you make them worship good, then it would be in favor of the gods, so it'd be a morally good choice.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

but wouldn't a god rather want them to have choice.

its like a bully forcing your friend to give you money, its a good thing that you have money, but it should be up to them.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

meh, I guess. I'm not into the whole "religion" thing irl so.....

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

i am an atheist, so i wouldn't want to force any law, but saying that, i don't want to make it that no religions are followed.

Re: Temple of light and temple of shadows

if so, would you rather your kingdom follow an evil one or a good one?
