Test Level???

My point is that all this talk about the dog by the 'M' aswell as the released screens might not prove that the game is near completetion at all. The fact that there is oh-so much gossip about it might've pushed them to create the dog feature really early in the process so they'd have something to show - not that the game itself is so close to completetion that they are not turning their attention to "small features" like the dog.

Or it could be just the other way around, that they have the "core" of the game done and are now adding "small features" like the dog, however that is most unlikely.

Now why all the attention to the dog? God knows, perhaps 'M's ego....

Yeah, right. Who cares about the dog, there is a gun in there! That means most likely, almost 99.9999% that they will have guns and other firearms in the finished game! :w00t:

Well as he has said the release is looking like 2008 id say its not really close to completion by his standards yet.

Which is music to my ears, I'd much rather them spend the time and make it as polished as possible.

How evil of them to put out these pictures now, if they are not going to be done for another year! Not cool...... but the pics are very nice. The dog is cute, I'm not so sure I would want one though.... unless you could get a meaner looking one ^^

Haha, damn straight! I am more of a cat person anyway, so to the hell with the dog. A shoot-out scene with some Bandits/Pirates - now that would be news! ;)

I'm really happy though. These pictures still show the general FABLE look. The character. Even the dog looks "FABLE" I'm so happy. ^_^

Molyneux had hinted somewhere that it would be released in 08. We can be assured though that what we get will look a lot better than this tester level, PM had stated that he was very unhappy with the way the hero looked and the over all textures in the latest half hour video.

well that was useless information right there, what we were talking about was the realease date and well yeah hence it being a "test level"
