I feel dirty saying it.

@Arseface:

Don't have an opinion on that, I've never watched it. Football will always be the best sport to embrace Mankind imo, nothing's knocking it off the top spot.

Wait...there's another version of football...?

I wish I could call it football and just have everyone somehow know I mean soccer. It is more deserving of the name anyway.

The one thing I always hate when I talk to an American is having to call it Soccer.. Feels unnatural. Of course, they're all entitled to call it whatever they want. Even 'Sometimes Boring, Passing Around Midfield, Dive to the Floor Win Penalty and Score' ball.

Only sports worth watching are the ones where people die. A lot. Which is why the Winter Olympics must never ever end.

All I have to say that at least it has a bit more foot on ball action than the American version, so the idea to call it football holds a bit more weight.

The more I think about it, it kind of looks like actual football, but with odd goals and the no-handsies rule abolished.

Wait...I just had a thought. What is the difference between Australian football and rugby?

Wait...I just had a thought. What is the difference between Australian football and rugby?

Many things.

Australian Rules:

Can't throw (have to handball)
Score by kicking it between the big goal posts
Have to bounce the ball after a certain number of steps
Free kick awarded for a fair catch (mark)
No offside rule.
Played on a Cricket field
Entertaining

Rugby:

Can throw (only backwards)
Score by touching the ball to the ground in the end zone.
Bouncing aint no thang.
Catching aint no thang.
Offside rule
Played on a Soccer field.
Not very entertaining.

Rugby has way more similarities to NFL than AFL.
