We have something like that, I don't know the exact rates as I'm contract and that sort of thing applies to regular employees. But yea, federal holidays there is bonus pay. I think it's supposed to be double whatever the overtime rates are, I think.

Edit: But not for working on Sundays.

Where are you getting that from? I just don't think that's true. Columbus Day is a federal holiday, and that one in particular is frequently not celebrated/followed/a day off elsewhere. I know my library system is open that day, and I don't get paid extra. Ditto for the public school system in this county. Don't know about anywhere else, of course.
