The countdown begins!!!

e3 is only 11 days away and to think, in 11 days time this forum will be flooded with new news on this game....... what do you thing peter is going to announce? Do you think there will be a live demo which they will show? i reackon he is going to gve away the next big thing!!! can't wait. ONly 11 days to go!!!!

Can't wait, but yeah I don't know if they'll announce anything huge. Maybe small things here and there, but nothing much. Who knows, though, we could be surprised.

well i have to dis agree i thnning they will for they and 2 more big things to announce and it is e3. I hope they give us a release date as well.

You can expect maybe one or two more average details about the game as well as a "guessed" release date. Maybe something more about the characters themselves than the world, like customization and features, which would be nice considering there isn't much info on the "character". Or perhaps we might even be informed as to a hint to the plot or storyline, though for that to happen I would need to be blessed by the mighty Avo, which obviously isn't going to happen.

We all had these same exact specualtions last E3, and look what we got... NOTHING! Absolutely nothing! I swear, the next person who mentions something about a release date will get a virtual smakck... :getlost:

We'll get a closer season time at the most, maybe even a planned month. Though, that's the best perspective, not the real one.

I'm keeping my expectations very low.

Here are my reasons
  1. They was a lot of hype about information to be revealed at the GDC and it was for the most part things we already knew.
  2. There is almost zero hype for released info at E3
  3. E3 has been scaled back to a very small group of people. It is not the event it was last year.
  4. There is still at least six months until 2008 and it might be released in December 2008 for all we know
  5. I'd rather be surprised than disappointed.
I think we'll see some more game play and maybe just maybe hear about a feature other than the dog. I seriously doubt that we will hear a release date. We haven't even had a Community Update since April.

All this being said I'm still looking forward to it

Hurrah! E3 is fast-approaching! Shame I didn't get a ticket. ^_^

Personally, I don't know what Peter Molyneux or Lionhead Studios have up their sleeves regarding Fable 2 but I'm optimistic that it will be something pretty darn sexy. Fable 2 is among the most highly-anticipated games of the year and the good folks at Lionhead are well-aware that they really need to deliver something special for the fans at E3.

Also, I know this is pretty irrelevant but as soon as I saw the thread title, I immediately thought of that song: 'The Final Countdown' and now it's stuck in my head. /random

The problem with giving us a release date is that many people who hold them to it as the end all, be all and be offended when it changes in some way. It's...Quite annoying...

Yeah. It's just that from modder experience I've been swarmed by people just by mentioning "It Might Be Out This Year", which somehow changed to "A Couple Of Days"

the creater of fable was an g4 once talking about fable 2, maby he'l b at e3. its a posobillity.

Hmmm.... hope they release some good news. And andythegill, HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW WHAT E3 IS!!!!!!!!!! Ok enough with the spaz attacks. And to all you who spell horribly *cough* psychopat *cough* open a dictionary.
