The Crucible's finest price

I've already won The Chopper, but now when I easily run through The Crucible my game freezes when I try to collect the prize. I don't know if I'm the only one who has experienced this, I just want to know if there is a patch out for this yet, or if I'm just screwed... :/

Oh, well I've beaten it multiple times with a score of 8/8, but it seems out of nowhere I cannot finish it anymore. I can play through it, but once I reach the end, there is a chest over the cullis gate that takes you out of The Crucible; I try to open it, then it freezes completely and I have to reset my system.

i've only been able to win the chopper once per game. after getting it, the chest isn't there anymore

It's a documented bug that has no fix yet.

If you already have the Chopper, don't open the chest again (if it appears, which is random) or your character will be frozen forever.

Well, I just can't do The Crucible anymore because the only way to exit is through the portal that the chest is covering... it's hella messed up! I don't need the exp points or anything, it's just cool to run through it. oh well....

Now that we're talking about the Crucible anyways, I'd like to ask something.
I noticed that you cannot get 8/8 perfect rounds the first time you try it (which is shortly before going to the spire). Is it abug, or is it always like that? It seems I clearly defeated the Earth Troll in about 1:20, whilst it automatically said it was 2:25...

Wow, that must suck. I got my prise on my first try. When playing cruciable online it lags allot so one person can finish upto 2 minutes before the other

For the first time on my new file, I beat it during the storyline visit. 8/8 and no chest.... I was not happy. I didn't wanna go back!

I have the same thing, I win the crucible with 8/8 perfect rounds, try to open the chest and the game freezes. It started happening when I finished the main quest and tried to play the crucible again. So maybe it only happens when you've finished the main quest. However you can keep playing it, you'll just have to make sure you dont get 8 perfect rounds, just screw one up. That worked for me. I hope it will be fixed soon...

Does anyone know whats in the chest?

The Chopper. It's a legendary weapon, once owned by Mad-Dog "The Strangler" McGraw (The guy you meet at the door).

Ahh so there isn't a second prize after you finish the main quest, cause I already have the chopper.

I have the chopper (8/8) Only done once and it is still a quest not completed. Are there more records to beat, better than a perfect 8,8??? Cheers guys/gals

hey it did the same thing for me, i beat the crap out of it and it said 2:25

If you used the slow time spell, the clock in the corner will "appear" to slow down, but it actually doesn't. On my second try going for the chopper I thought hey, it would work. But, unfortunately, I ended up getting quite frustrated with my unexpected results ^_^

Mine froze on me, as I tried to get the prize, and I never could get it, after that. I started over, and it worked right that time.
