The Flaws Of Fable And What I Would Like To See Improved

we all know the fable duo ( soon to be trio) is a great series. Excellent storylines, lots of freedom ect. But i would like to point out the flaws and what needs to be fixed in fable 3.

First off, i always get ticked how the npcs have awesome clothing styles that put my heros to shame. I look pathetic compared to them!!!

second, the npc heroes also have weapons, and spells non obtainable to my hero.

thirdly fable 2 had so maNY GLITCHES IT WAS REDICULOUS, A PERCENTAGE OF GAMES ARE ACTUALLY UNPLAYABLE! and have to be returned.

fourthly, i dislike the fact that they took out the armour rating of fable 1, how does the fact that you being naked and knothole knight armour having the same armour rating make sense??

fith, i would like to point out that they are moving too fast in time and i hope they slow down. at the rate they are going, if they made a fable 5, it would be in the 19th or 20th century!

lastly i would like to say that fable has way more good points than it does bad, even tho it was a big slap in the face for destroying oakvale, i loved the fact they had a story for it, as well as many others.

I think the NPC's clothing is way better than you can get your character other than the ones from DLC. And Garth does have more spells then you can get, for example he just threw fire into the air and it exploded all those boats, and when fighting with him he always has blades above his head but it is much stronger and he has a better shock and such.

There isn't armour because of guns. Guns + metal = Hole in metal.

I guess it would be kind of cool to get clothing that NPCs have.

This happens because the Heroes' weapons are signature weapons, like Reaver's Dragonstomper .48, or Twinblades dual blades. And when you say that others can use spells that the Hero can't, which spells might those be?

Really? Fable 2 has glitches? I had no idea. I mean, there totally hasn't been tons of people bitching about it or anything.

That small flaw is totally worth not ending up in the same exact clothing at the end of every game. F*ck armor ratings.

Yes, this is a big problem. I mean, it's not like they have the option of going back in time for a future Fable game.

on the contrary they DO have weapons unobtainable to us. Reaver has a cutlass aand gun we cant get, hammer well has her hammer
and in fable 1: Maze had a spear, and a bunch of diff spells, scythe had the scythe, jack could drain our healthbar really well and also shoot blasts from the sword of aeons, and whisper and thunder had cool weapons and spells unobtainable.

I was just saying lionhead should read from their viewers with the glitches and stuff. Glitches i have found: are if you are in fairfax castlewith a ton of ppl following you, you can get pushed off by them. Or when the game will unexplainably freeze. My friend kyle had to buy 5 fable games until he found one that worked properly. Because his hero would fall through the ground, and his guy would freeze after he saved and stuff. I can go on.

Don't forget about Garth's spells along with the spike spell one of the spire guards have.

One of the glitches I've found was in childhood. If you ignore the bad guy and keep on walking then your sister goes away and you walk extremely slowly everywhere.

nope garth has the blades around him that can defend himself instead of just using magic blades to attack others. And in the battle with maze, he shoots a ball of dark matter ( its kinda glowing purpleish) from his staff when u get too far. Jck can drain ur life bar waayyyyyyyy down, and can also summon 30 minions at a time, he can shoot blasts from the sword of aeons, whisper can throw orange bombs at people in the arena, and briar rose can duplicate herself. So there u go. U wanted me to be specific you got it.

Garth has more advanced versions of your heroes spells. For example, Garth just threw fire into the air and knocked out all those ships. And he can walk with blades spell and has a better shock spell like when he fought the Shard.

Garth is the hero of will so his will abilities will be significantly better then yours. Reaver is 500 years older if not older so he's probably come into possesion of items that would of normally always been lost to us, and you can get a hammer just like hammer it just doesn't look the same.

I agree they are heros of specific skill so of course they'll be better than you and why were people saying stuff about I cant get Jack of Blades spells or Wispers and Mazes spells because a majority of them dont have spells that you can get

Jack of blades was a spirit(or at least i believe a spirit) from the void, so its kind of obvious that he'll know a thing or two that you won't know *He DID live before man of course* Maze was taught to be a hero probably from birth, had more time to acually learn his will abilities.

Wisper just used bombs, properly just a design of her own that she doesn't share with you...boo hoo

And by the way, don't make assumptions about someone's real life who you've only met over the internet. It just makes you look weak and childish because you've resorted to diving into the unknown for something to attack the other person about due to the fact that you have nothing more to retaliate with.

Well, personally I find my clothing a whole lot better then the average NPC running around, but I guess that's personal taste.

Do we not have weapons that other also have?
We have our own fair share of weapons that I have not yet seen another NPC/Hero with.
Like Necro mentioned; Signature Weapons.

I myself, have not yet encountered any glitch other then my dog jumping trough a fence.

I've once heard that they just did not have time to add armours and such but I have no validation of that.
Anyhow, Do we have little bonuses hanging above our real clothes?
No, 'our' heroes just have excellent fighting skills and therefore have no actual need for armour.

Well, to see impact of time, you actually need time.

I loved the Oakvale tale to, seeing as I loved the place so I was glad there was at least a tale about the destruction.
