Why shouldn't he? His marker and Coding will always be there. Just because he's not supposed to spawn again doesn't mean he's not there.

Perhaps the way they approached the codding is that the graphic animates to go "underground"/below the water but they failed to remove the selectable part of the object reference when the creature is below ground.

Does the Kraken look like its going through the motion of dieing or can't you get close enough to tell?

He looks like he's just sitting there. He is moving, but he's not attacking or dying. Just..Idle. then he just. Goes under the water, like he's about to put his tentacles out.

Yeah. They are just standing around in "Idle" animation. The Trolls look rather funny. One moment they are there, standing about and the second later they dissapear only to burst out of the ground.

...like the Trolls were lazy actors that didn't notice someone had shouted "ACTION!" until you get close enough, where they realize "Oh crap! I'm on!" and act their part....

Yeah. They are just standing around in "Idle" animation. The Trolls look rather funny. One moment they are there, standing about and the second later they dissapear only to burst out of the ground.

Hero:*Prepares to fight, waiting, swaying back and forth, ready to dodge the stones the Troll will soon throw at him*

Troll(Startled):"Huh, wha? Oh..A Hero. Let me get into character...."

Troll*Throws some dirt on his head*"What about now?"
Hero: "I can still see you..."
Troll*Fuzzes about in the hole, throwing more dirt on himself*

Troll: "Blasted! Wait-wait, I got it!"
Hero: *sigh*
Troll: "How about now?"
Hero "I still see you..:"
Troll :*Throws a fit in the hole* "Now?!"

Troll: "Ok. Here I come!"

Even though it's obvious you can see the troll mounds before they erupt, I still jump when they burst out of the ground...same with the undead springing out of nowhere in an otherwise silent place...
