The guards wont let me turn myself in

Ok so I casted a spell and made the guards mad.... not realizing the new save system autosaves. so I was messing around and did resist arrest. now every time I go to brightwood I get shot at, and cant figure out how to turn myself in or pay a fine to make it stop. Help would be appreciated! =D

Try leaving for a little while then coming back to brightwood. It might take several minutes but eventually they will go back to walking up to you instead of just attacking you straight up.

I did the same exact thing yesterday, its been 24 hours and I still can't get back in!

try hitting someone then hit the up on dpad if a white flag shows. break into a house an apologies.

try and become King maybe they won't take you to jail,
so then you won't have to turn yourself in...
