The Heroes

Re: The Heroes

Grammar is not the issue here. There's no point on continuing this, it's way off topic and after a page, has gone nowhere and can only get worse.

Re: The Heroes

Oh there just computer 'slag'? That's good news. Sorry if i exaggerated, maybe what you 'thot' was more accurate. Again you've used the derogatory term 'retarded' when i think you have to admit that i'm far more intelligent than you are.

"then what lucien takes over the world and u press the restart button lol u should think comments through b4 "attacking" a game :]"

You can't blame that on computer speak. Maybe the fact that you weren't overburdened with an abundance of schooling, that could be a factor.

Re: The Heroes

haha so u came here to prove what, that u yet again cant answer a question, only try to compare ur intelligence to someone else online and be proved wrong by about 6 ppl.....yea man ur a genius, so again i welcome u to take ur genius self and get lost becuz its obvious u wrote this thread only to cause conflict and learn nothing from ppl that have a much more open understanding of games..

Re: The Heroes

I wrote the topic Karma, and I would have hoped you could civilly discussed this.

People, really? You continuing is a show that your intelligence may be dropping rapidly. Enough, I'll just say everyone got their point across and to save time, I fail for stopping the argument beginning. Back to the Topic.

lol ive continuously brought up the topic, like i said he came here to argue not to make a point, and i tried to be civil, he attacked me for disagreeing with him

I don't think they did. I think you came here to join a growing arguement without adding to the topic, that's for damn sure.

perhaps u should read all the post before saying something like that, when i first posted i gave a full explanation of my feelings on the subject, well the arguement anyways

You contradicted yourself. You did add your full opinion on the argument while stating nothing on the subject, which I'm not sure if you even know what it is. I am done discussing this argument, You are bring it way off topic. I guarentee I read it, and re-read it in disbelief. Thread will likely be closed if this doesn't stop. What do you think about Hammer, Garth and Reaver?

Re: The Heroes

lol i did contradict myself, only becuz i wasnt even aware in the first place u wrote the thread, the arguement got so out of hand b4 i arrived that i thot blestb had wrote it, perhaps saying im taking the thread of topic isnt fair when he took the thread in such a different direction that i didnt even kno u wrote it, and i like reaver the best, followed by garth then hammer :] happy now?

Re: The Heroes

Well, i think they represent the alignments. Hammer, Good. Garth, Neutral. Reaver, evil. Perhaps that will be implemented in some way in fable 3

Sure. I just suggest starting from the beginning of the thread and reading from there next time. Glad this is squared away.

I'm sure they do represent Alignments, and spectrums of the Purity Gauge too. I hope they allow you more freedom in 3 as well, and am glad that Reaver was in 2 and will be in 3. He's the type of Jackass that is needed to **** some people off.

Yeah i think my comment, while intended to be drily humoruos, killed the thread.

That's an interesting way to spell "dryly," I've never seen anyone use an "i" before. I guess you're a whole lot more intelligent than I am. :/ (since I looked it up and confirmed that they are both the same word)

And I really didn't think it was humorous at all. But I also don't believe you weren't attacking the game, just criticizing it...which, I guess, could be the same thing. It also didn't help that you kept berating the people "arguing" with you and you just sounded pompous, angry, and rude. But how you "sound" online is something hard to determine other people to interpret correctly. But your words were not of pleasant taste which threw a lot of people off.

However, the other people were getting a little heated over petty words and opinions. Oh well :/
I also like how you said that they represent alignment because I said the same thing. Bias? Nooooo, not me :)

Goodness, you're a volatile one. I was actually referring to my last comment but i appreciate your opinion on my implementation of comedy. Yes, i suppose i am a whole lot more intelligent than you; it is sometimes a burden. Thankyou for telling me your opinion on something you were not involved in and is horribly old now. And, just to assure you, your first paragraph of text did not make you sound "pompous, angry (incorrect use of a comma) and rude", all of the things you accused me of sounding like.

Just out of interest, what does this mean: "But how you "sound" online is something hard to determine other people to interpret correctly." Because to me it sounds like hypocrisy.

How so?

I was actually referring to my last comment but i appreciate your opinion on my implementation of comedy. Yes, i suppose i am a whole lot more intelligent than you; it is sometimes a burden.
Oh, yeah...(incorrect usage of ellipsis) that one. I overlooked the "dry humor" from the argument that took place before...(incorrect usage of ellipsis) oops :(

Thankyou for telling me your opinion on something you were not involved in and is horribly old now.
Well, I kept myself out while it was going on because I didn't feel like getting into something you helped create. Clearly, I don't care anymore. :/

And, just to assure you, your first paragraph of text did not make you sound "pompous, angry (incorrect use of a comma) and rude", all of the things you accused me of sounding like.
My first (real) paragraph to this thread or the one I just posted? I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not nor do I understand what you really mean. :/

That comma was actually used correctly as I wanted to separate "angry" and "rude." If I wanted to use them as like-things (probably wrong use of hyphen), I would have discarded the comma. However, I wanted it to sound like "jelly, bread, and butter..." rather than "jelly, bread and butter... ." That comma is optional, here in a America, anyway. They have different meanings and different ways of reading them. That's what I get for taking College Composition 2, huh?

Just out of interest, what does this mean: "But how you "sound" online is something hard to determine other people to interpret correctly." Because to me it sounds like hypocrisy.
Ugh, that was a little difficult to understand: my backwards talking is not very intelligible somethings. Here, let me rephrase:
"It's hard to determine the manner in which your text is interpreted by other people."

What sounds like hypocrisy? The fact that there's no "sound" on the internet (which is what I wanted to point out) or the fact that you can't determine how other people take the things one says?

Hammer:
Meh. At first I really liked her, but then she wouldn't shut up and kept on whining ALL THE TIME. Then she criticised me for choosing love. Excuse me, but if she had had the decision she would of chosen the same to get her father back. She was so slow in combat and when walking. In the Howling Halls, she pretty much slow-motion walked out, whilst I took the OMG-BALEVERINES!-RUN-FOR-YOUR-FREAKIN-LIFE approach.

Garth:
I didn't really pay that much attention to him. I hated how smug he was though. He did help you escape from the Spire though.

Reaver:
Best character, in my opinion. Now, I know most of you wish this guy would drown in his own urine, but I really liked him. I was glad he shot Barnum, yeah, I know it sounds mean but I hated Barnum so much! I liked Westcliff before he went and ruined it. Partly my fault though, as I didn't read the quest description and just accepted it. Unfortunatly I had the "floating-Reaver" glitch so I missed out on most of the Rear-Passage bit (*insert immature laugh here*). Also, in the words of Benjamima of Fable 3, he's so hot and scrummy :P

Im going to go ahead and rant about my hate for Theresa
Theresa:
AHHHHH!!!! I HATE HER SO MUCH!! Heres why:
She sent you into Castle Fairfax, knowing full well you could get shot
She used you in her master plan to get the Spire
She never shut up!
She was extremely patronising and excpected you to be a good little hero and do what you were told
In the game you became nothing more than her, ahem, let's just say "female-dog"
*cough* I'm done. Sorry for ranting D:

Hammer: I think that she is a sweet hero, but the fact that Teresa took controle of her feeling so easily shows that when her emotions get in the way, thinking for herself becomes a task. but through out the story I watched her grow and my opinion of her grew as well. I belive she is a great Hero, and a large asset.
Garth: I like the fact that Garth is a scholler, I feel that any decition he makes, he thinks it through before doing it. His powers in Will are great and used in a way that is differnt then mine. I feel in this way he is his own being, as Peter says that every person has his or her own chaircter. And his expirience has earned him my respect.
Reaver: I feel that Reaver is a solid asset, but I really dont like him as a person, i never liked being an evil person myself, perhaps thats why...

Hammer
I liked her a Lot. She whas friendly and she had take care of my wife and kids.

Garth
He wasn't a friend nether was he a enemy.

Reaver
If there was a chance to kill him, i would have done that.
