The Limit of realism in game.

Re: The Limit of realism in game.

If you had your limbs cut off you could just replace them with machines!!!

i always wanted a metal Arm and leg anyways its just bad***.

Re: The Limit of realism in game.

Actually caboose, that is part of why I made this post. Im working on a storyline for a game. IM in school for game design. And you hit the nail on the head. COol. But there are problems with this system, what if your head gets cut? Well in my idea the arm gets lost first somehow and then you upgrade to a mechanical arm, and part of its ability is a blocking enhancement, so technically its possible in game, but with the arm your very much less likely to lose your head so to speak,. But this is all still in the idea phase. Or you can have an upgrade bio-enhancement for your skin, I guess Ill call it Iron-hide.

Steampunk, I must say that I think you could just have helmets, or like see-through shields... I dunno, I never could program a game with a good storyline :P

Re: The Limit of realism in game.

Yeah, true. But helmets arent as cool as steel infused skin or robotic arms.
