I dont think there's an afterlife. In soviet they made studies on people (read: victims) that were about to die. They measured brain activity and weigh them after/just before they died (yep, thats were the idea for the movie 27 grams came from...) and nothing changed (except brain activity).

They also discovered that thee is a chemical reaction in the brain when you are about to die, it makes you see a white light. They alsa successed in recreating this "white light" on persons that were not dying. This combined with a general disbelief in non-provable things makes me belive that your "soul" is just a combination between instincts and love is the result of pheromones to ensure the living of species. And when you die, brain activity cease and its like shutting down a computer(hmm, more like shutting down the RAM, since everything in there is temporarly stored....)!

Heres a theory you know how stars are balls of fire what if their suns to diffrent galaxies?Like are sun is a star to them or somthing?

Just so you know stars are suns in other solar systems. And yes, a sun is a star. So if you were far away ours would be another dot in the sky.

i have. if u ask me. i believe in past lives. like, when u die, u become reborn as another person, with no memories of ur past life. but you never know, maybe thier is a heaven and hell.

Well if you have faith then yes, believing in a Heaven and Hell comes with the ideologies. I personally believe in a place of paradise and a place of torment (like the Scriptures say), and I'll be damned if I let someone berate me for my beliefs.

It just what you might think happen... I believe...



I was on a talk show because of it... You see, I would have dreams about Vietnam War. So much killing...
That was when I was 3-4 years old. I told my mom about the dreams. Then I start to have dreams that got realer and what I was saying was stuff that really happen and things Chinese people believe in, like how they go to school and things like that. My mom got worried..

Just a week after I had another dream, Oprah talked about it on her show. This little boy found his way back to a Indian family and the family that he went to, they lost their son that looked just like him.

My mom thought that the dreams that I have might have been for a past life. A small talk show in Houston invited me to join them and talk about it. Although, it wasn't aired, I was still on the show...

I hadn't dreamed about it in so long. The last one that I re-call was an Asian lady telling me it was OK.... Weird.

I personally don't believe in that "white light" stuff being a religious encounter - I'm taking Zingo's view on that one.

I reckon it's different for everyone - I mean, not all people have the luxury (or curse, if you look at it another way) of having time to know they are on their way out of this life...I'd imagine if you did see a white light after being fatally hit by a truck, it'd be the glare of the headlamps and nothing more...

Well, as they say, it's a new life, as in new everything, really. You can't take anything with you, ya know. Like the preacher of my church says, "Have you ever seen a hearse pulling a u-haul?" Earthly things are meaningless because they are all just temporal. Life is too short and too temporary to take earthly things seriously. Heavenly things are another matter. When you've got something to look forward to after this life, when you have something that keeps you going through the direst of days here on frickin' great earth, it relieves you of all your burdens with the knowledge that it's all just temporary. There is only one place and time that is ever eternal, and that is Heaven. Period.

Well the pub will always be my heaven so im sorted in that aspect. ^_^
