I actually meant that you are knocked out and some of your money is taken, you still wake up at the same spot, or if a good wanderer finds you, takes you to his/her home and treats you and asks you to marry him/her later.
More deadly foes would still kill you though.

Yeah, some people actually care about the realism, and so wont cheat it.

with this whole issue i don't see why everyone should be having such a problem with it.

i mean if you don't want to get scarred don't die! it's as simple as that with fable 1 it was nearly impossible to die if you were at least a little good at combat and if you blocked some of the attacks in fable 1 you wouldn't get scarred as bad!

so i reckon peter should have kept the whole falling down and getting the **** beaten out of ya idea stupid testers!

im not worried about dieing cuz if its at all like the first game i wont die at all! i just think they should leave the system the way it was or at least not totally cange it.

i have an idea, in stead of dying. why not just be knocked out, and ur character wakes up in the same area several hours later, and u have some of ur money gone?

Thats a good idea but a little unrealistic... every time you fight with low health you get knocked out and lose a little mooney... ouldnt bandits or bosses etc want to kill you..?

I was reading an interview with PM and he said that having no death, just scars has been dumped.

later in the interview he says "But scarring isn't completely removed from the game. At one point during Fable 2, Molyneux says you will face a choice: Be horribly scarred and have every character from then on notice your ruined appearance and respond differently to you, or choose to have an innocent character scarred instead of you"

It's already been stated in one of TRIGGERMAN's interviews that your hero will NEVER die in the game, so we don't have to worry about that. All we have to worry about now is those dreaded, awful, no good, terrifying scars...

Yeah I mean, if I had My pick of of gal who could make me brekkist (and was unmarked), or one who could help me in a bar fight (scars included), I'd pick the latter. Besides, I make a darn good brekkist anyways. lol.

And as for the death deal, who cares? One way or another it can't be too bad, loss of money or disfigurement, wow, neither of those sounds too appaling lol.

But scars are pretty. Since when did scars mean someone wasn't pretty?

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. This beholder says, they are ugly. Would you date someone with a lot of scars in a game? I'll be a girl, so, I don't want scars. Maybe there will be potions to get rid of them?

theres an interesting article some where round here where Peter mentions you can spend exp or gold for some "cosmetic surgery" to get rid of em after all this game is about choice, very interested what exactly that could mean....ole crafty Molyneux
