The Red Dragon. Is it really that great?

I've got an uber-augmented Master Turret Pistol. I get extra XP, take less damage, do more, absorb health, earn gold for kills, look sexy to villagers, and scar easily, which I wanted to anyway. Scars are cool.
I do more damage than the Red Dragon, and my augments outweigh it.
Not to mention I'm nabbing the Perforator soon, which is a simply delicious weapon.

So what are the advantages of the Red Dragon? I don't have one. They're hard to get, and I haven't buckled down to do it.

Any insight would be appreciated.

well i dont play fable II but i ocaisonly look at the red dragonnthreads and i can say that it has 6 rounds or something and the recharge is fast so you can shoot quickly and can be more deadly thats what i know

Its an OK weapon, I use it when im bored of the Rammer. But overall, its worth the win, its a weapon that looks, sounds and poops out Bada**

it goes.....BA!BA!BA!BA!BA!BA! in about a second. you dont have to spend so much time reloading unlike with the turret

its crap, i got it seen how crappy it was, then seen how every one loved it (for some reason) sold it for a HRC then the DLC came out and made my own legendary wep

No. It isn't crap. Shoots like an AK-47 and kills quickly.. How is that crap?

The only problem I have with The Red dragon is;
- It's 41 crappy damage.
- It looks like a rust toy that you play with in the bath tub.
- Devastation Aaugment.

Yes, I know that the 41 damage is increased by Lucky Charm, but still.. should have just given us more base damage and another augment imo.

it only shots fast not that great, of course its damage is hella low because its so fast.

I dont used range much but I keep the red dragon as my gun because its quick on the draw and overly loud and I think it sounds cool. when I want a more useful gun I usually go for something else. like a flintlock pistol or some rifle.

Oh and another reson people want it is because for some its a real beotch to earn so its sort of a status symbol.

I leave for a few days, permantly, and someone asks if the red dragon is really that good...you sir, need to bite your tongue....right now....as hard as you can. sure the dlc came out and now there is 4 augmented weapons, but the red dragon is my lighting gun...use to be unless i rent it some time in the future...point being... everyone has there opinion on it but only one is right, and that is mine greatest gun there is...note how i did not say crossbow.

1 head shot kills- accuracy/speed needed not power, all you need to know.

I use the Red dragon all the time(well I first compared it to others and it doesn't really seem to have any flaw for me).The Red Dragon is the fastest gun in the game and it kills normal enemies in like 1-3 shots for me and mini-bosses in under 10 shots and bosses in under 30 shots(don't know exactly how many shots as I use a mixture of attacks on bossses).How can you say it's flawed or imperfect or not the best gun in the game(excluding crossbows)?But what am I to say,after all we all have our different opinions and aspects of things.

Red Dragon is an excelent weapon. Its loud, fast, and moderatly powerful. the only time I dont use it is when I am using dextris styles to to high dammage. like a headshot with a flintlock. other than that, Red Dragon is my main gun.
