The sandgoose does in fact, unmodded, exist.
Unfortunately for all you giant chicken lovers, the sandgoose is a boat.
I've only ever seen it twice in one area... you guessed it. Hook Coast.
Here is how.
1) Go to the top of the Lighthouse near midnight.
2) Shoot 1 or 2 arrows.
3) Cast enflame.
4) Run outside before it's midnight.
5) Run to the harbour.
6) You will see two blue boats both with a little bird image on them.
7) There you are: The Sandgoose. However, you cant board it and even if you could, it wouldn't take you to Dragon Cliff and Get The Singing Sword.
8) By the way, if you watch the boats, after midnight, they disappear
