Post the names of people who are not to be trusted in trading.

Please post real cases, and not if you were not satisfied with past trades and want 'revenge.'

I hope this can help keep the forums clean.

If this is a good idea, and gets used a lot it'd be cool if it could get stickied.

dylan225 is not to be trusted. He offered 2.5 mil for a Regal Purple Dye but instead he took off once I gave it to him.

To be fair the ops intial post wasnt very clear as to "only those who have requested trade on the forums" or something with wording like that, he could have just encountered this person ingame offering 2.5 mil for the dye and then got scammed....

Btw as an ex-mod of a few MMO boards generally these kind of threads are not wise unless you can provide proof of some sort which with this game seems impossible (far, far, far too many revenge posts).

Owusu9Legend is not to be trusted as I gave him the Maelstrom, Daichi, and Enforcer for 6 hero dolls. He gave me the porcelain doll (not a hero doll) then ran completely off.

Others have said he traded with them ok so in my opinion I would NOT recommend him for anyone. TRADE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Lesson learned - do not trade all your items at once when multiple items are at stake. Rather trade one for one.

I did get all 6 hero dolls eventually from three other people - big thanks for their help!
Now that I have the last achievement I'm done until the next DLC or Fable 3.

If only Lionhead would make a simple trading system, scamming would be less of a problem. But I don't really trade with people outside of the forum >_<

Or you can be "smart" and trade someone randomly that you met in bowerstone for 3 minutes. Give them all ure legendary weapons and dolls. Then watch them take off =)

I was helping some guy who met me through one of my friends with Knothole Island, and he's like "Dude, get ready for this. I'm gonna send you a huge amount of gold. Watch." In about five seconds I received ten gold. xD

If only Lionhead would make a simple trading system, scamming would be less of a problem. But I don't really trade with people outside of the forum >_<

Maybe the trading is as it is for the Good vs Evil part of the game all over again.. im sure they could have made a simple trade window rather than gift system if they really wanted to... plus having a trading system steers the game towards the MMO genre and im sure that they dont want that at all.

i have a simple trading tip for people, if your worried that the person you are trading with might scam you, bring a friend along and then give the trading items to the friend, the friend then gives those trading items to the desired people.

So I give my items to a friend, then they give the items to the other person so I can get scammed ( taking quite a bit longer though )? That sir, FAILS.

What we need is some form of a trading post - like in Forza or even in Knothole Island where you can list the items you want, upload whatever, set your price and then when someone sees it they can meet the listed price. You still have a final chance to approve it or not but there is no scamming involved as if you approve you get the items via the trading shop, they get the items via the trading shop. If you deny the sale, they get their purchase returned, and your item is still listed as for sale.
