i have a simple trading tip for people, if your worried that the person you are trading with might scam you, bring a friend along and then give the trading items to the friend, the friend then gives those trading items to the desired people.
problem almost solved

I think he means both traders give their items to the third party, and the third party gives them back to the opposite person (traded.)

1: Third party runs off
2: third party runs off and gives it back to the first person making it a scam
3: Third person runs off and first person pretends he was robbed so he can get the items back later and repeat without looking like the bad guy
