i saved the light temple, and when i went back to the temple of shadows tonight, i was surprised to find enemies, and when i killed them all, a found a lone shadow dude by the wheel, whats he for(i killed him btw)dont know if he'll come back, but whats he for?

dont know but i did the same thing... i havent even gone back to see if he re-spawns

if u choose the shaows, you bring sacrifices and the wheel decdes how they die, he dontrols the wheel

The 'shadow dude' is indeed, the man who stands next to the wheel, and talks to you when you're choosing the Temple of Shadows quest. However, ever since you've defended the Temple of Light, the remaining Temple of Shadows NPCs become "shadow" people, like Cornelius Grim at the Wellspring of Light. Of course, other NPCs spawn as well.

but when u save the temple, the shadow gets destroyed, i went back, killed the monsters, and there he was, standing on the circle a few feet from the wheel, he doesnt do anything!

That guy who mans the wheel was my only regret in choosing to help the temple of light. He is hilarious.

but the dude dosnt, talk, people, dont get off subject im not talking about him. i mean if u chose to save the temple of light, u go to the shadow temple, kill everything, and he appears a few feet from the wheel!

He really has no purpose. If you go the shadow path and destroy the Temple of Light you'll notice that sometimes in Oakfield (and other areas) a few stray light monks wandering around. Everyone I know that has this game has a random Shadow Worshiper somewhere in the ruined temple. Sometimes you can interact with him, but most of the time he will ignore you or run away. Mine was actually in a back room. I suppose it could be a glitch since he doesn't interact, but I assumed for the most part he was just part of the temple environment and realism.
