The Sims 3 coming to Consoles & Handhelds this Year

EA has as part of its latest financial report confirmed that massive PC hit The Sims 3 will be heading to consoles this Christmas.

The publisher didn’t nail down a firm date, or indeed state which formats the game would be heading to – it simply said that “The Sims 3 on Console” would be heading to consoles and handheld’s “this holiday”.

The PC version of the game was released last June and has since gone on to sell over 4.5m units.

When will they realise that Sims on consoles are droded? It's a point and click game, and thumbsticks don't meet those needs.

Omg. I didn't get a chance to play Sims 3 much on PC (due to my laptop being a piece of sh*t) so woohoo.

The Sims: Bustin' Out was an awesome game. My favourite Sims to date.

I'm glad someone else noticed this, the one Sims console game I greatly enjoyed... and people say Sims 2 Pets was the best, bah!

Bustin' Out is the best Sims game ever. I have it for my Gamecube and my Xbox... Don't know why.

It is because it is just that damn good.

Gawd, when will Microsoft update their backwards compatibility so I can play it on my 360.
