Re: The Truth Behind Scytale (Spoiler!)

Convincing, I'm willing to believe that it's Scythe, but I've noticed one thing.

You point out an ornate sword, yet Scythe is shown wielding a blue/gold scythe, as opposed to a sword.

Aside from that, I see no flaw in your logic and no reason to believe that it isn't Scythe, unless Lionhead state otherwise, still, +rep for this thread.

I beleive if it is scythe then there will be some kind of DLC so we can see him if not i will be a dissapointed bunny :'(

Re: The Truth Behind Scytale (Spoiler!)

i have a feeling scythe is getting ready to go back to the north and fight jacks old army of demons and hes recruiting (heros from 1 and 2, hammer, garth) did not put reaver because he wouldnt do it without money and scythe knows of reavers evil side so he a questionable person to fight evil

i forgot rose even though she is a child she is a hero so maybe scythe took her because he wants to train her to be a hero and i think possibly the strongest since in our knowledge no one has ever been trained by scythe

however, it is just as likely that they made up a new character.

Wtf didn't you even read that? I pretty much touched all the bases and made same fairly valid points while doing it. Why would they make a new character when Lionshead has obvoiusly gone to great lengths to show William Blacks influence on Albion through the ages then? Hell i thought i'd leave it out but i might as well point it out now. On the last chapter of the stories say that Scythe dissappeared shortly after Nostro's death and "....that to this day, he wanders Albion alone, seeking another who bears the power to restore Albion to greatness."
Some one refresh my memory what was it the last thing that the man in the letter said to Rose?

okay you mis understood me i was saying that animandan has the right to his/her opinion but prooveing it would make him look like he has some basis to go off of.

i also noticed the things that you yarabavan have been pointing out (i was to lazy to write all it ) but as i was reading i noticed and connected the information trust me i belive and support our shared opinions

I think she'll definitely play a role later on in the game, i mean common; the game pretty much ended on a cliff hanger. I could go on, on about more of my theories about fable 2 like that lady gray was in fact was actually a witch or that Theresa is the hero's sister from the first Fable, etc; so i'll keep it short, there are trends in the story line that definitely point towards the fact that rose will atleast play part in the in the expansion.

I had thought of something like this while writting about the Sword of Aeons. I had forgotten scythe's what his wepon was, but the blue gold definitely fits the pattern. I can't quite remember how the hero of Fable acquired the Sword of Aeons in the first place. The only thing i could think of would be that after Scythe dissapeared for the second time he managed to get rid of the Sword of Aeons some how, which had prompting Jack's attack on the guild. Definitely deserves more looking into, but i'm done researching for this particular topic in at the moment.

Re: The Truth Behind Scytale (Spoiler!)

i knew about this but i nevr posted it, its really obvious to me, in TLC you find bewks that sa monsters like balvs and hobbes appeared after archon hadthis sword so and that he was so strongthat theworld was effected by him so i think when he was wasting away it made all this bad crap in albion

Re: The Truth Behind Scytale (Spoiler!)

Scythe/William Black/Archon is obviously the man in the letter lol and thank god for that i really do like Scythe and his backstory and basically how he is what will hopefully be a recurring character in Albion =D i believe the thing with people saying that the man is Jack came from Rose saying the man wore a hood. But you explained the similarity between a cloak and a hood and tbh Jack is Dead his mask (and source of power) is destroyed! I'm sorry but no amount of Retcons will bring him back and if he does return i will be royally P***ED! xD but yh Scythe FTW! and roll on the DLC to wrap all this up!!

Re: The Truth Behind Scytale (Spoiler!)

Well done captain-obvious. Anyone that can't work out Scythe is William Black should seek medical and/or psychological assistance urgently

Re: The Truth Behind Scytale (Spoiler!)

just gonna have some fun and trash your theory for a sec: in fable TLC, then you try to open the Bronze Gate, one of the souls needed is the oldest soul, which was meant for you to go and kill the guildmaster. however, you get told that Nostro must also be the eldest soul. now, if Nostro is meant to be the oldest soul, how could he learn his powers etc from Sycthe, who must then be older than Nostro? doesnt make sense.

BTW, havnt got fable 2- wanna wait for another expansion for laptop.
