The Walking Dead Returns

Read the wikipedia page on swedish hollywood wives. Apparently one of the wives spent a couple hours on a shooting range because they experienced a robbery. Instead of getting better locks and burglar alarms, she spends a couple of hours on a shooting range with what I can only hope was an air rifle(no sane manager of a shooting range in the UK would give an inexperienced housewife and her sons a gun on their first visit), because a basic grasp with weaponry will really help you defend yourself against what could be a hardened criminal in your house.

I never watched it before last night. I saw a bit of the second episode and the last episode of the first season during the recap marathon leading up to the premier of season 2. My roommate is a fan so it's not like I could simply lol and start playing Twilight Princess. I was forced to sit and watch television. :(

I enjoyed it. I'd imagine that after a while it starts repeating its self or losing some glow (lots of zombie-based stuff does), but it's incredibly well made for a television show. Like, if the Cohen brothers decided to direct a zombie show it would probably look like this. The acting is a bit cheesy at parts, but I'm willing to forgive that.

Good show! :)

I enjoyed the tension in the episode too and the church scene was kind of creepy. Having never read the comics and not knowing much about the story its even more interesting.

Aye, the ending of the premiere I didn't see coming at all. Though I feel that the next episode/season preview revealed too much.

Watching the new Fringe episodes finally, I like the direction this show is going and its pace (much better than Season 3 which felt like a drag). The little touches of improvement I'm enjoying as well such as some cinematic camera shots here and there, better special effects, and the new pieces in the soundtrack (an increase in the budget perhaps?). Currently on episode 2 of the new season.

I must say, John Noble is such a fantastic actor for such a brilliant character.

Yeah the teaser at the end gave away a little to much for the next episode i agree but still its got me wanting to see the new episode already.

I also agree that Fringe is going in a better direction and seems to have a clear focus now and much better pacing rather than going slow for a handful of episodes then break neck speed to fit everything in.

John Noble is a superb actor and deserves all the praise he gets for that role.

This, Fringe, Spartacus, V, Boardwalk Empire and Game Of Thrones are all shows i watch and currently before The Walking Dead returns ive only had Fringe to watch as all the others are on season breaks (though only just getting started on Boardwalk Empire).

I can't watch Spartacus anymore. I just get really sad whenever I do. Walking Dead grew on me over time, it looked pretty generic and stupid at first.

Spartacus will still be a brilliant show despite the sad news of Andys death and i dont doubt that Season 2 will be great too and people owe it to him to continue to make the show a success by watching it.

Just finished the first season. Then went on to watch S2E0, the preview. I went oblivious to what was happening on the screen, because the sound drew my attention: I recognized the first twenty seconds as the song False King by Two Steps From Hell :P. Now going to watch What Lies Ahead.
