The Witcher S3E7 feels like The Shifting Sands

Okay, has anyone else seen the latest episodes of The Witcher on Netflix yet?

The episode where Ciri is astray in the desert reminds me so much of The Shifting Sands in Fable III. The environment, the atmosphere, the voices talking to her sounds like The Crawler, even the music is similar!

I haven’t played The Witcher games, so I don’t know if this is in those games or not, but it sure feels inspired from Fable III.

I think it's a longshot to think they took inspo from Fable but you never know - the showrunners haven't exactly stuck to the original story so they may aswell steal some stuff from elsewhere.

The Witcher series uses very similar music to the games (one thing that did do quite well) and the voices talking to Ciri and visions etc is done quite a lot too. Not sure if this particular scene happened in the books (not read them) but from what I read in the reviews the final episode of the season did at least follow some of the book plot (for better or worse).
