The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

Ah, happy to hear that you can have a break I guess. Have fun!

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

Greed-Filled Rant:

The Swedish government gives you money for attending SCHOOL???? Hey, how hard is it to immigrate? Please tell me it's easy. Please! I spontaneously wanna be a Swede. Screw Maryland and the USA-- I want more money!!!

Greed-filled rant end.

But yeah, you have fun with that. I'll be sorry to "see" you less-- you constitute at least a third of my daily comic relief!

Oh, and electronics company? For your sake, I hope you don't have to do any soldering. From my digital electronics class I know how much that **** stinks/sears your sinuses/throat/gives you a headache. Or maybe that's just me. Who knows.

Hope you make more than my crappy $8.90/hour 24 hrs/2 weeks sticking books on shelves. Have a Merry Summer and a Happy Money-Grubbing!

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

I think he meant you have to pay for school...

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

The government pays you IF you go to school.

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

Hahahaha... That's pretty funny I guess.

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

Sorry to hear that Tsuyu. Looks like our site will be a little less perverted from now on... Why!!! It was just so, so, smutty! Just the way I like it... :shifty:

(If the working man is the everyday hero, than people should be praising my dad. He works 14 hour days, you are only required to do 8 in California... )

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

Hell yes I get cash for being in school. :D

I get 1.000 SEK a month, which is roughly 140-150 dollars. (One dollar is about 7 SEK these days). It's OK, a 360 game generally costs about 200-600 SEK depending on how new it is but it really aint something you will get rich by cashing in on - but hey, it is free!

Nah, no soldering I think... I don't know what it is called in English, but that sorta plant where all the poo water comes to and gets cleaned into normal water... I guess the straight translation from Swedish would be "cleaning/cleansing plant". Oh and no, I wont be poo diving - the place is quite new and the non-poo buildings needs to get the electricity "connected" to them, like putting cables and wires to lamps and stuff.

Damn straight. While my dad might not work that many hours, he does heavy manual labour(like carrying around dish washers and stuff . he delivers them to people, carries them into their houses and installs them) which has given him busted back and knees - but he keeps doing it, he aint giving up. He was offered a lazy desk job which paid more, and whilst the familiy all urged him to take it, he didn't. It wasn't... his style.

Ah.. I look up to me ol' pa.

Upon learning that I have decided to move Sweden... Tsuyu, we're going to be best buddies! I'll bring my guns and then we can argue about stuff... Maybe I could live in your attic, and when you try to sleep I'll talk to you through the air vents.

My dad passed up a scholarship to Cornell University so he could take over his Moms business. He has been doing it since like 1976, I barely saw him when I was little he worked so much.

I don't have an attic - but you could live under my bed!...or in my closet, we could import some Corn Pops and all. (I'm sure your 1000 SEK a month would cover that).

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

 that would be so amusing. I'd like to see a reality show with you two living together, :shifty:

We'd be the original odd-couple.
*Enter Tsuyu, from the stairs*
*Audience laughs and claps*
"Fablefreak, did you shoot old man Jenkins?"
*Audience laughs and claps*
"No what makes you think that?"
*Audience laughs and claps*
*Gun goes off behind Fablefreak's back, making a hole in the wall*
*Audience laughs and claps*
"FAAAAAABLEFREAAAAAK!"
*Audience laughs and claps*

*Insert some generic show-theme as credits roll*

My Aunt is a TV producer, we could totally pitch that show! I would watch it, and oh how generic it would be!

Re: The Working Man, The Everyday Hero.

I'd watch it too

It's called a Waste water treatment plant in the US
If you count the driving I work 12 hours a day. I have a desk job now and I think it's harder than a physical job. Bodies weren't meant to sit around all day. I'm away from my desk enough most days helping someone but If I even spend half a day working on something at my desk I go mental. It was easier when I worked in a restaurant.

Don't be gone too long Tsuyu.
