it forgets me every once in a while, but not recently.

could have something to do with site maintinence. several changes have been implimented recently.... once after the site changed a bit it forgot me. but it sorted itself out shortly after that.

Hmm, quite odd. It remembered me. I've heard of this happening to a few other people, though I can't remember what was up with them. Whatever it is, I'm 99.9% positive that it's cookie-related.

Are cookies enabled?
Are you clicking the checkbox to have the site remember you?
Do you clear your cookies at any time after visiting the forum?
Are you using Google Chrome's Incognito browser?

And since the site was down for a bit for me, admins - did you break something?

Can't be google chrome since i use it and it remembers me(maybe it's because my computer is never off(hibernation))

Ive never had this issue as it always remembers me (it better not forget me :O). Look into the things JohnDoe mentioned above.

It is cookies. Did you clear them prior to the problem?
