They say Mourningwood's got some weird goings on...

I was playing last night and I bought the Happy Hippie house. I go in and enter redecorate mode, I change a couple things, then I turn around to go out the door and there is a group of 3 or 4 dark semi-transparent figures standing in the doorway with red eyes... They weren't Darkness I don't think... But either way, instead of attacking me, they just stood there. I tried attacking them but it was like attacking a civilian with safety on, nothing happens. They stood there perfectly still til I reloaded the map. This could be something everyone knows about already, I just haven't experienced it yet so it was freaking creepy. I'd just like to know what was standing in my doorway.

Any help is appreciated

Weeeeeeeeird. It's not happened to me. Could it be a result of a Will spell? Such as Summon? It sounds creepy either way though.

It's possible I accidentally used Summon by accident, but I doubt it. However if there are no enemies around, will the summoned just stand around or follow you? Because I walked very far away while keeping the camera focused on them and they didn't even turn to face me. But yea, it is a hippie shack... god only knows what "herbs" could still be floating around in there...

This is actually the whole reason I joined this website, was to find a thread like this. I am in the baracks in Mourningwood and am searching for those little ghouls.

I found them last night when I was tired and um, high, and they scared the living **** out of me. Yet, I needed to see them again, they were so fascinating. This game could use more of those genuinely frightening moments. There were about half a dozen somewhat transparent black ghouls with red eyes, they just stood around my feet before I entered the swamp on my way out of the baracks. They were just staring up at me and they were silent, their will and intention not known.

I wonder what it was that made them come, I didn't use a summon spell. I'm a female "good" character and just fought a few of them hollow men for ****s and giggles and them before I knew it, these awesome and horrific little creatures were at my feet staring up at me. I've got to find those awesome little ****ers!

Let us know if you find them again!

EDIT: Also to note, I had just killed a few civilians (I am ambiguously "good"). Maybe devils watching? Or, whatever.

I had just got done killing some hollow men as well. Then they were in my doorway at the hippie house. The only difference between our experiences is, yours sound like they were really short, whereas the ones I saw were like... Well, in real life they would have been about 6 inches shorter than the hero. Nice to know somebody else has experienced this.
