The new patch that was released on the 5th or 6th of November, does it stop the duping of items?

People can still duplicate from what I've heard so no, it doesn't.

Alrighty then. If it doesnt fix the jasper bug, doesnt stop the duping, doesnt stop the other game ending bugs... what DOES it do?

I think it makes the chicken suit look more slimming.

As far as I know... nothing. I think they made some property prices skyrocket though.
Do they not post patch notes somewhere?
Maybe on the official Lionhead website but that's doubtful.
