mabey it's just my crappy xbox then...

Laser must have went, they burn out easily for most comps but Sony are noturious for it with the PS2 nearly all my mates has done it.

and the Xbox scratches it's own disks, just from playing them.

Never noticed that with mine, you would have to check all the specs for a match before replacing it as just putting ANY old PC Drive in it could have some bad concequences.

yeah... i'll check with my crazy "mod the sh!t out of everything" friend

and about the disks, they do do that. i got far cry instincts, BRAND NEW (i almost always buy everything used, due to me being a cheap @$$ gamer.
a friend once said that id buy used condoms...) it had NO scratches, i put it in my xbox, and played it, didn't take it out for a couple days, when i did, it had light scratches all over the disk,

You can expect light scratches from ANYTHING reading a disk but nothing that would effect it reading the disk really.

and to the disk scratching, Gamecube dosn't do that, since the disk dosent touch ANYTHING exept the little hole in the middle

thank avo, since otherwise i would have to buy a new copy of Resident Evil 4 every week, at the rate i play it...

true, the games arn't the bst, but Resident evil 4 is awsome, hands down. best game ever played. better than halo (which i hate, so i guess that dosn't count)

Halo was fun, untill you beat it over 17 times, and halo 2 over 12. not to mentoin countless hours of multiplayer
you go to a party "LETS PLAY HALO!!!!"
you go home, your roomate "LETS PLAY HALO!!!!"

I agree as we all did the same with Halo, not so much with Halo 2 but hopefully Halo 3 will be more like Halo 1 (they have said it will be)

agreed, and since i don't have a 360 (too cheap) i wont get any.

ater i beat Halo about 3 times, i was going "okay, done with this, it's pretty good, but thats about all i can take" then i would end up doing speed runs and stuff, on Co-Op.

same with Halo 2, cept that after i beat single player once, i was already tired of it, it just rehashes everything. and while live is fun, once you have about 100 hrs, it's boring.

Yep. Lost Chapters was susposed to keep us entertained until Fable 2, but there should have been even MORE quests. At least 500 anyway.
